I like having a real keyboard to use with my IPAD. It makes cutting, pasting and all editing much easier. I would like a little more feedback from the keyboard to let me know that I pressed a key however.

I like the Smart Keyboard for my iPad Pro because I am used to a desk top mouse and keyboard and this keyboard offers me seamlessly the same way to conduct my online communications.

This keyboard/cover provides complete functionality to the iPad. It essentially allows me similar functionality of a laptop, while still being useful as a tablet. I have had no negative issues with it. A+.

I like the overall feeling and response of this keyboard.

I've been an iPad user for 5 years, and upgraded to the Pro in December. The keyboard was back ordered, and arrived 2 days ago. In the interval between purchase and now, I'd bought a regular cover for it to have something to prop it up and protect it, and was beginning to regret the keyboard purchase. After all, I'd been used to typing on the iPad's virtual keyboard for years....was I throwing money away? No! I love having a real keyboard, love typing on this one. What was I thinking, thinking I wanted to stick with the iPad's virtual keyboard, which is hunt and peck one finger method. Back to touch typing, which may be the course I use the most of all HS and college courses I took. It is sturdy, propping the iPad screen up at a good angle for viewing, and it doesn't get knocked down or dislodged as the cover did from my old iPad when propped this way. It adds very little extra weight, in fact I was surprised at that. Backlit keyboard isn't necessary if you touch type, except for seldom used specialty keys if you type it in the dark. It would look pretty backlit, but would also be a serious battery drain, and battery life is far more important to me. The long and short of it...I was already used to the old iPad's keyboard so thought I might be wasting money, but in actuality, I love this keyboard, love touch typing again. It makes the new iPad so much more functional. Because I'd already bought another cover waiting for this one, I'd thought I'd probably keep that one on the Pro more often than this, but in actuality, haven't moved this one from it's keyboard since first setting it up. It's great!

Missing some of the features of an on virtual keyboard, I purchased the apple keyboard for the iPad Pro. I have not been disappointed. Works great, connects easily and has a great iPad holder as well.

Definitely an expensive accessory...but it works surprisingly well considering how flat it is. The key give a good amount of feedback, and I find that I can type pretty much the same as on my Macbook Pro. I personally have found that the keyboard elevates the iPad Pro into a valid alternative to carrying around my laptop for most use cases. The only reason I'm marking it as 4 stars is that it is definitely expensive, and on rare occasions the smart connector seems to lose connectivity and you have to disconnect and reconnect quickly. But not a deal breaker.

Had 2 prior brands, both died for case cracks or key failures, the Apple works easy, stands up to constant use and keeps on working without a hitch. Cost more to start but won’t fail you either!

I didn't think I would like this design, but after carrying it around and using it both with my iPad and folded behind it, I don't know how I lived without it.

This keyboard attaches very easily to the Ipad. The buttons/keys are nice to touch, very smooth. It serves as a screen protector as well. Worth the money. Makes the Ipad function as a mini computer/laptop.

I highly recommend this keyboard when using the iPad. It's light weight, protects the screen when not in use and you can still add a cover to protect the back of the iPad. Keys are user friendly too

I was really worried this keyboard would be flimsy because it was so thin. On the contrary, it is very rugged and light. I love it. It makes my pro feel like a laptop. There is nothing I can't do with it now.

Great companion for the iPad Pro ... fast charging ... easy to sync and easy to use ... I use it daily with a note taking app for my iPad Pro ... only concern was being carefull not to lose the end cap.

For an apple product, this has been a little disappointing to me. It can get very laggy and actually not recognize certain letters and keystrokes. Rebooting the iPad seems to resolve it for a while but I think Apple needs to work on the software.

This keyboad is a great addition to the iPad. Wish it had a back to cover up the back of the iPad but I purchased a case where the front can be removed and then the back used with the keyboard case.

Keeps everything together, which is great for my son!

I have stop using my laptop case I bought this iPad I'm able to connect virtually to my network at work I also on able to connect to my private accounts manage all my electronics I really like it

Awesome keyboard, great to the touch! I've already bought this keyboards previous version. This is my second keyboard which I bought for my iPad Pro 2017 version. Would definitely buy this again.

Great keyboard. I bought my iPad instead of a laptop and this keyboard is a must if you're going to use it to type regularly. Only complaint is that the space key sometimes gets stuck for a little.
