It seemed like a good idea.....a tactile keyboard that also works as a stand for an iPad Pro, and a cover protector when not being used. There are two problems with its design. (1) The iPad is surprisingly heavy - not at all like an iPad Air. The extra display space is nice, but not so nice that the extra weight is tolerable. The keyboard is also somewhat heavy, so that when added to an already heavy iPad Pro, the whole unit now feels like a laptop. (2) If you do not want to use the keyboard, the unit will not act as a stand for the iPad. So, it isn't as versatile as you might think.

Great keyboard for a 12.9 iPad Pro. Compact, nice feel on the keys when typing.....very smooth. Not a "full size keyboard" but with the 12.9 iPad Pro, very usable. Would have rated a 5 if it was backlit.

The keyboard works great with my I pad. the connection to the tablet is sturdy and easy to make. it is a full size layout which makes it simple to go from my laptop to the I pad.

The iPad keyboard it is a ok product. Nothing special. I just think it is too expensive for what it is.

Decided to update from an original IPAD to the IPAD PRO. What a difference the new keyboard makes to allow for quicker processing of work. The big plus is also not having to have wires connected. Thanks Apple.

The Smart Cover is a great companion to the iPad Pro. You can type so much faster and it is a nice blend between tablet and laptop. The unfortunate part is the price. You need to pay to play I guess.

So far I liked this key board. It works nicely with out any issues. The only issue is that it does not have backlit but the light from the screen is enough to work in dim light environment.

have used this for a couple of years and it has never failed. integrates perfectly with the iPad and sets up with easy. solid make and shows no sign of wear.

The cover is somewhat awkward to open and close and put into a standing position. Nice to have keyboard shortcuts and easy to use functions for copying text or webpages and making text larger or smaller.

I use the 12.9" iPad Pro keyboard and find that it is much easier to type on that the smallish 9" one. Thie keyboard effectivley turns your iPad Pro into a good business laptop. Easy to travel with.

Does not like to hook up already only after a month of use. I have to disconnect and reconnect more than I believe for as young of a device set up as it is. Mainly wanted this one due to being able to have a fully protected iPad while being able to connect to the keyboard without removing the protective case...wish I would of had more options for that to be available but Apple and uag cases work together...but since nothing else offers protection of device with a keyboard I would have to go with this route again hopefully it does not get worse

It was a Christmas gift for my brother-in-law. He seemed pleased, (Wouldn't have reviewed but for Best Buy"s urging with Rewards Points incentive; apologies that this is not very helpful.)

This is nice but doesn’t offer as much protection as I’d like. It’s not advertised as such though. Worked beautifully. The keys were a little close for me. I have large hands.

This keyboard is perfect for my needs and has lasted through many removals and attachments. Apple is not the most affordable but is usually always dependable with their products!

The only hiccup I've had with this product is once in a blue moon, the keyboard doesn't like to "connect." This is usually solved by cleaning it and maybe restarting the ipad.

We had to buy an Apple iPad for my daughters school ... and I didn’t know what to expect ! It was a bit pricey ... but we’ve had it now for quite sometime.. and she loves her iPad !!

good tool for a stand but not great to carry along when I was in china hard to take photo kept falling off.

I am very happy I purchased the Smart Keyboard along with the iPad Pro. It makes it so much more user friendly especially to someone unfamiliar with iPad Pro.

Fits I pad pro nicely but like the Logitech keyboard better On my air 2 since it snaps onto iPad. This one held by magnet and comes off fairly easily

It works good, I just don't use it that much bring the iPad is a touch screen. Do it's basically a really expensive screen cover for me. I could se it being very useful for others though.
