Apple's Quality Control Has Really Gone Down
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I buy a five-grand MacBook Pro - immediate performance issues. I buy a top-of-the-line iPad Pro - warranty replaced within weeks for a faulty touchscreen. The MacBook Pro leather sleeve is the most cheaply-made, obnoxiously-overpriced sleeve I have ever seen. This iPad Pro keyboard and cover is no exception to quality control woes. Within weeks of using the cover, it started to not want to stay on the iPad and would routinely fall off, even though it was connected at both sides, magnetically. I guess the keyboard makes it too heavy for its built-in magnets to hold it securely to the iPad. Whatever the case may be, it's probably a five cent fix on Apple's end, and they chose a fatter bottom line over a higher standard of quality. If you can't tell, my view of Apple has been soured by their latest line of products...and don't get me started on customer service at the Apple Store!
