The Apple Studio Display is reasonably competitive price-wise, compared to similar models from other manufacturers, or at least it was when I purchased mine. The video is very clear and has good contrast and brightness. Colors are very well represented. However, it was the audio that really got my attention. I had been using fairly high-end "bookshelf" speakers and a small floor-based subwoofer with my previous computer (an iMac). This monitor's audio is roughly as good as the previous speaker combination...or...shockingly good for a monitor by itself. While I was waiting for my Apple Studio computer, I occasionally plugged my 13-inch MacBook Pro into this monitor...and (perhaps because I hadn't actually noticed this feature in the ads?) was rather surprised to notice that the monitor charged the computer while it was connected! In short...beautiful monitor with incredibly good speakers.

Nice screen but not so great camera. Works with 27" Intel Imac.

Built very solid. Awesome 5k display and incredible 6 speaker sound. Very pleased with Apple's continued quality built products and Best in Class Tech Support.

 I don’t know how Apple does it. I have used dozens of excellent monitors in my life, but this is the best one I’ve ever seen!! It’s so premium that it puts my other 4K monitor to shame. It’s even better than the iMac 5K monitor I used to have.

Awesome monitor. Using it with my 2022 M1 MacBook Pro. I also use it with my work computer as a 4th monitor by plugging the thunderbolt cable into my windows usb-c dock. Super nice display. Good sound. Pricey, but great product. Probably will use for the next 10+ years.

Clarity and sound of this display is amazing. Cost is a little steep, as always with Apple, but you get what you pay for.

Quality image, simple connection and no configuration necessary.

The largest monitor I have ever had. To go from using my MBP to now I can see everything clearly and easily is a game-changer.

Great monitor as compared to the LG 5K that I had to to replace. Blacks better and no glowing corners. On the other hand it was more expensive.

Expensive but is the perfect replacement for a 10-year old Studio Display. All USB-C ports on the back. Beautiful resolution.

Wow!! Excellent picture quality. Clear , and bright colors. Sound quality of the speakets is also a plus . I bougjt it to use as my main display with my 16 inch Mac Book Pro laptop . No issues . I love it. I highly recommend this product .

Excellent for my purposes. I replaced a iMac plus a MacBook Pro 16 inch with the MacBook Pro plus Studio Display. Love it. Also able to connect my iPad Pro when necessary. Expensive but less than it would have cost me to replace my 2017 iMac. No regrets and would recommend to anyone in similar circumstances.

Excellent picture color and webcam. Perfect match for Apple laptop. Not cheap, but worth it if you spend real time in front of a monitor. The dynamic webcam follows me as I walk around the office. Great addition to my setup.

Picked up this Apple Studio Display to pair with my Macbook Pro M1 Max (16 inch). Absolutely stunning 5k monitor and I would highly recommend anyone to pick this one up. The quality and craftsmanship of this monitor is next level!

It's my first 27" and 5K. I'm really impressed. I don't have to make larger the text to be able to clearly read. The speakers are excellent. The camera is good too. The black is really black . I have no complains at all.
