Best screen I’ve ever used for photo edits! The standard display is still very usable in lighted room and the height is perfect for me, not needing the adjustable stand in my opinion. The colors and resolution make this display the best of the best.

I've had this for a few months now. Not entirely sure it's worth it for the price, but the build quality and the speakers are extremely good.

There are 1,000,001 YouTube reviews out there and most of them give same conclusion which I agree with. The display is crystal clear (with the glossy), sharp, crisp, etc... etc... I come from a 4k LG matte and although I'm paying more than twice for this, to me it's worth it. The 60Hz doesn't bother me for my needs (productivity). And to me, the blacks look like oled, even though it's not. Brightness is as good as all those reviews. I am happy with it.

YES, it is very expensive. YES, it only has 4 Thunderbolt ports on the back. YES, you could get a cheaper 4k monitor with decent specs and probably be okay. BUT if you live in the Apple ecosystem like I do (2 MBPs, 1 MM, several iOS devices) then this is the ONLY display that provides seamless connectivity and interoperability for all of your Apple devices. The display is GORGEOUS and exceeds all of my expectations when it comes to color reproduction and brightness (during video and photo work), has an incredible sounds system built-in (for YouTube videos, Apple Music listening, and video calls), and can be updated / improved through firmware updates and improvements. The camera generated a lot of commentary, but I find it to be superior to all of the webcams I've used before and is slated to get even better with firmware updates and Center Stage. It took me a while to convince myself it was worth the hefty price tag, but I have ZERO regrets about taking the plunge. I owned the Apple Thunderbolt Display for 10 years prior to replacing it with this new Studio Display, so I anticipate that this will be in my studio for many, many years to come.

This monitor is awesome! Got it for my mac studio and my workflow is so much better. The 5k resolution is perfect.

Love this monitor. If you're in the Apple ecosystem and stare at the monitor all day long then your eyes will rejoice. The clarity of the text and color accuracy are second to none. If it has a higher refresh rate then this would be the perfect monitor.

I purchased this Apple Studio Display to go with the Apple Mac Studio computer, this display is expensive but it is high quality and designed to work with Apple Mac computers. It has building speakers that sound good, it has built in microphones and it has a web cam built in.

Like everyone, the price made me consider other options, but I’m glad I opted to spend the money on the Studio monitor. The picture is what you’d expect it to be. The speakers are great. It’s also a thunderbolt hub. Just buy it.

Beware! I bought this Studio Display in good faith for its striking resolution, color and high degree of contrast since I'm 76 and have macular degeneration. Warning: The contrast slider on this monitor is INOPERATIVE out-of-the-box. The range of contrast/color saturation the machine is capable of cannot be adjusted at all by the slider similar to the brightness slider. This "bug" significantly limits the unit's incredible range of screen resolution and devalues the Studio Display down to the rank and file $250 monitor. Apple markets the Studio Display to those of us who want the 5K resolution in fully glorious color and sharp resolution.....and are willing to pay the premium price for it. At this point, it appears that Apple will not fix this major defect. I have engaged them in a three month case asking them to fix the Display by making the slider operative......but thus far and much to my chagrin, Apple won't fix it or give me the one-year warranty remedies of either a replacement or a refund. It's not a flattering look for the boys from the so-called "Genius Bar." They have a legal and ethical responsibility and obligation to make a good-faith customer "whole" in this particular situation......of course! They eschew the high road in favor of the darkness always endemic to the low road. During those three months, I have spent 60 personal hours generating 120 case emails and speaking to over 50 different Apple associates at various levels, both in-store folks and the Apple Support phone jockeys. Their overall level of expertise and communication skills are shockingly suspect. If Apple could grab a junior programmer for a couple of hours and get this elementary but devastating bug fixed, then YES! This guy is worth every penny of its $1,600 price tag! This defect is merely a "stuck handshake" emanating from the display's internal A13 chip, and is a simple hardware-to-software communication failure. In the world of programming, that's an elementary "refresh" or "state update" bug that should have been patched in a minor OS update months.....or even years.....ago. Let's hope that Apple decides to put their "Big Boy" pants on and do the right thing!

As usual, this Apple product is top notch! It is made with recycled aluminum and can be completely recycled at the end of its life. The solidly built case and stand are sturdy and reliable. It looks good while providing excellent service. The 27” 5K Retina display is brilliant with 600 nits of brightness, 1 billion colors, and P3 wide color band, making it the best high-resolution monitor in its class. It works perfectly with Mac computers and laptops, factory calibrated for perfect rendition of any photographs or creative art. The super fast refresh rate also makes video editing and game play a real-time, stutter-free experience. I highly recommend this monitor for all Mac users. It is the best monitor you can buy.

No doubt you're going to pay for Apple products, but if you're already in the Apple ecosystem, it's hard to beat the quality and integration of this display. It's an example of Apple at its best with the "it just works" ecosystem. Not even a power button, which seems a little odd, but works fine. Speakers seem better than my older imac. Webcam is "meh" in terms of image quality ... not really any improvement there from my iMac, though the Center Frame feature works well. It integrates as a 2nd monitor for my macbook pro flawlessly, with exceptional image quality. The build is rock solid. I like the dimensions better than my imac (studio display is wider). Overall very satisfied and exactly what I expected... and should expect for that price point: exceptional image quality, rock-solid build, and flawless integration with my apple ecosystem.

Amazing color and clarity. A bit on the pricey side

This display is just like the display from your 27” iMac, except it’s better. It has better audio and spatial sound, micriphones, cameras for Face Time and it has a faster refresh rate for gamers and action movie lovers. I think its a bit overpriced, but if it last 7-10 years, the price is worth it.

Display is gorgeous. Text is excellent. Excellent sound. FaceTime camera is trash. Use your iPhone camera. Its expensive but worth it. Not only is the screen beautiful so is the design. Paired with M2 Mac Mini zero complaints.

It's a stand alone imac display. People are complaining about the price but if you look at the LG ultra fine display it's not that much less in price and isn't built even close to as good as this so technically this is a better value in my opinion.

Always always the best in the monitor class, sadly, you do get what you pay for. I have multiple monitors for the work I do, and this one is ALWAYS the main one. It saves my eyes, love the camera and speakers built in (two fewer things to buy or connect to). seamless integration with the mac mini.

I thought I would regret this purchase, but I couldn’t be more pleased. It is overpriced, but the experience with it has helped me look beyond the price tag. It’s very well built and speakers are amazing. Combined this with my MacBook, magic keyboard and trackpad made it a seamless experience.
