Highest DPI short of the Pro XDR in a very nice looking package. Speakers are very good (for a monitor) and the webcam is acceptable. Price is very high, but it's Apple.

This monitor is absolutely great. It is super bright, the colors pop, the text is as perfect as you could get. The speakers are awesome for a monitor. Sounds as good as Sonos or Bose speakers. This is really for someone who understands why 5K is special and who goal is primarily color grading video or photography editing. Foe all those saying they want 120 HZ, HDR, Oled, etc. just don't know what this monitor is capable of. It absolutely does not need 120HZ for photo and video editing. It's about as perfect as it can get. Also, I've heard complaints about it not having enough ports. It's a Thunderbolt 3 display so I wouldn't expect to daisy chain this or hand a fast SSD drive off it. It's designed for one purpose to give great display for editing and color work.

I bought two displays for my Mac Studio and love them! The build quality, like every Apple product, is simply the best and the screen looks amazing while editing 4k footage or just watching YouTube videos. Love the braided cables they come with, although, be aware the Thunderbolt 4 cable it comes with is only 3 ft... I did have to buy 2 separate 6 ft cables since my displays are mounted on a dual monitor arm and needed the extra length. Other than that, the displays are awesome and worth the premium price. No other display comes close to Apple's build quality, ease of use and sound quality.

An excellent integrated solution for Apple products. It's more expensive than others, but it is really meant to work most seamlessly with Apple computing. I bought it to use with my MacBook Pro, but now that the new iMac Mini Pro chip is out, I'll probably get one and add it to that. Before I had a iMac Pro 27 inch, even though the screen is the same size it seems smaller on the desk and there's more room on the desk..

This is with no doubts an expensive display.
The quality is absolute excellent, and you cannot find a similar display in an aluminum housing like this. It's super sturdy, not flimsy. Especially when using on an articulating arm (with the vest mount) this is really important.
The brightness is great. Don't listen to people that say 600 nits isn't bright enough. They don't know what they're talking about. I work on this display at 75% brightness, because otherwise it's too bright for my studio.
The speakers sound great!!
Connectivity is great.
Colors and color calibration are amazing.
