We are very happy with our external drive. It’s nice to have the option of adding this on to MacBook Air. It’s comoact and sleek and easy to set up and use.

If you spend the bucks for something like a MacBookPro, don't be cheap with additional hardware, go with consistency and compatibility, peace of mind is worth the extra cost.,

I've read many reviews of unhappy customers, but I am completely satisfied with the product. It has worked well so far for about 3-4 dozen CDs. Only downside is that I feel it's very overpriced. I wouldn't buy a second one if this one died on me solely due to the cost.

The hard drive was easy to connect and is so small that I hardly notice it on the desk. This is exactly what I wanted. I was also surprised that this was under $100.

My iMac didn't come with a disc drive which was a bit annoying, so I got this and now I can watch movies on my Mac. It was easy to use, just plug in and get going.

Had no idea the Mac doesn't automatically come with a drive. This is an absolute must have! If you are still a disc and DVD user like me you can't go wrong with this.

It's a dvd/cd drive and works great. If you have an older iMac that has a built in drive and it is broken...from my experience this one doesn't work on those machines.

Works fine. Caveat newer computers for MAC don't have a regular USB port, which is what my drive has. I ported it into a powered hub, but it didn't work. Got an adapter for the USB-c on my new MacBook Pro16 and it works fine. I was rather surprised that Apple hadn't figured out the need to include the USB-c adapter.

The portable, external DVD player/burner requires no set up, plays DVDs with ease, and is a solid made device. It provides good value for the money spent. Happy I made the purchase.

It's nice having my all in one iMac. But adding this drive topped it off. I find it easier for uploading from discs than the internet. And I found it easy to burn both DVDs and CDs.

i bought this external drive to work with my IMac and it works great. Very easy to install. Fast burning device and great compatibility with my computer.

Very easy hard drive to hookup . Just plug in usb on your computer or laptop and boom your uploading your music cds and dvds to your library.

Simple, fast setup - just plug and play into a Mac. If you want to use on a Windows system, drivers can be found online in Apple Bootcamp, but the setup is a bit trickier.

I took the cd drive out of my Mac and replaced with a hard drive. This works seamlessly with my Mac and i am glad i bought it. Now I have everything I need to do what I need.

I bought this so that I could store all of my GoPro videos on it instead of taking up valuable hard drive space. It is so small that I can keep in in my laptop bag. Love it.

This drive works great and sits neatly on the iMac stand. I do not loose desk space because I can sit my pencil holder on top, so the only potential issue is a non-issue.

As sleek and simple as all Apple products, with one minor drawback: eject function only available on-screen (no physical eject button) which is not that intuitive; otherwise does its job
