What a great product. Easily hooks up to my apple Macintosh laptop computer. Great buy !

We still need the optical drive so kids can watch DVDs on trips. This one gets the job done. We have two of these and no issues with either. They are light and compact.

I use the Apple USB Superdrive to make backups for work. It comes in handy for those us that still need the use of CDs/DVDs either for work or pleasure. Looks great, lightweight, fast speeds and, yes, still a necessity in my work & home environment.

I bought this for my boyfriend to copy his music from his cds to his Mac and iPhone and it was easy and he absolulty loves it. Very user friendly.

This Apple super drive is awesome, quiet and quick! Now I can upload my CD's into iTunes easy and fast! I would recommend this product over the LG any day.

It is easy to use and install but it is unfortunate that apple doesn't include an option for it to be installed on the iMac. All Apple's computers are now eliminating the DVD player. I see the point on a laptop but not on a desktop.

The external drive has been great. I had some trouble at the beginning because I wasn't up to speed on my software version. So once I upgraded it this drive was easy and quick to operate. Just had a bump in the road but it has saved me from buying another computer.

For the money. it's worth it! A hard drive is a must have in every business. I can burn all my files onto a disk and store them for later review or upload them off the disk when needed.Downside, The hard drive is external and takes up dest space. You'll have to make allowance for. It would be nice if it had some kind of external mounting bracket you could use that could be mounted at the bottom of the computer that keeps the hard drive off the desk and on the computer incase of coffee spills and less clutter.

It was disappointing to find that newer MacBooks no longer come with the disc drive already built in to the computer, but this little extension is an excellent solution. It comes in handy for the few instances when a disc drive is necessary.

With the changes in the new MacBook's, this product allows me to utilize the computer in ways I had not been able to do so before.

This is a really great external CD player. I really needed it to add old cd’s to my iTunes library and it did just the job.

Since the new Apple desktop computers have no CD drive build in, this is the best you can get and easy to use. It is slim and fits right on the stand and out of the way.

I bought this for someone who was just starting using an iPad, and had no mechanism for adding music to her computer, save, purchasing from iTunes. This drive filled the bill perfectly.

After trying other cheaper products and feeling extremely frustrated I decided I would bite the bullet and get the apple recommended CD player. Solid performance

easy to use and no directions required. just plug in computer and follow what is on the screen. Nice that is it powered by the computer and you don't need an extra cord.

I bought this as an add on to my Mac, so i can put my work into cd.

Had an external drive from a different company that worked ok for a while, then it stopped. The Apple drive works great. I should have known! Stick with Apple products.
