Easy to use. I had to buy a USB-C to USB adapter so o can use it with my laptop

I bought this to use with my new iMac. It's great because it just plugs into the computer with the USB port and it's ready to use. An added bonus is that it looks great on my desk.

It is a great product. Burns and plays without difficulty. It did take a little while to figure out how to work it, because I have recently switched from a PC to Mac.

I have several DVD and CD's I've collected through the years, and needed a drive to watch them. I have not used it for TAX, will wait and see.

I looked at other options and there are cheaper options out there but let us be honest we want an apple product that it built well, functions perfectly, looks good and has no issues - so this is it. Why look elsewhere to save $30

I love when things work with no problems. All you have have to do is put in it he USB plug into into into the Mac and boom it works!

Very user friendly product. Have used it on over 100 CDs, some with scratches that wouldn’t play, but all transferred to iTunes without any issue!

The super drive is a must. Loading pictures from CD or playing a movie from DVD is what I've done so far. It's really nice to have it separate. It keeps the laptop so light.

I gave it 5 stars because it does what it's supposed to do. There is nothing special about this Apple superdrive. It does what it's advertised to do. I'm annoyed that apparently Apple made it so you pretty much have to buy their Superdrive to have it work flawlessly. I was told by multiple (non-Apple) salesmen that if I were to buy another brand, it may or may not work and that was by Apple's design. There's nothing bad about this, but to be honest it's just an external DVD drive. It works. It doesn't make your files any fancier or your photos pop more. It simply read and writes data.

I wanted an external Blu-Ray for my MacBook Pro but LG and Pioneer drives didn't work. With the USB A to USB C, the Apple DVD drive worked like a dream.

Works fine…only have used it a couple times to copy CDs to my hard drive

Add all our home movies turned into DVD's and this help us be able to view them on our Mac.

Great little device, compact and portable. Looks and works great with my Mac Mini and MacBook Air. No issues with this device at all.

Apple is seamless, so I couldn't expect anything less then the ease of use of this device. Now if only Apple made their own printers....then I would be ecstatic!

my new system did not come with a disk drive or burner so this was an inexpensive solution. It was easy to set up. Just plug in and go

Works great with my MacBook Air, I love the fact that does not have to be plugged into an outlet, just one plug to your computer and go. No fuss. Light and portable.

Burns CDs quickly, works quietly. Using CDs isn't as common as it used to be, so this is great when you do want to use a cd.

This is a great accessory for MacBooks that don’t have the USB port in them. DVDs play well and it was not expensive!

Exactly what I was looking for. Very easy to use! Plugged right in and started using it! After reading many reviews, I had no doubt I would purchase the Apple brand!

It works well as expected on macbook pro of 2016, but it did not work on macbook pro 2012 (which I guess is understandable). I got by without USB adapter due to my laptop being three years old. Overall, it was a good investment.
