Exactly what I was looking for. Very easy to use! Plugged right in and started using it! After reading many reviews, I had no doubt I would purchase the Apple brand!

Most of the software and content people will need can be obtained from the internet however, it would have been nice to have it Blue-ray compatible. Paired with an Apple computer and the Thunderbolt monitor playing DVD's will have a grainy appearance. It's compact size is a big plus.

Quality, portability, and ease of set up was just what I expected. I have high expectations and am happy when they are met.

For those times when you still need an optical drive, this is an easy one to use. Powers right over the USB which makes it vey convenient.

works exactly as intended, has bought another brand from Walmart for less and had to return it, Best Buy had the exact item for the exact equipment I have.

this optical drive has a very slick design and works as intended. Meant to be used for Apple Computers. Have never had a problem with this Optical Drive

Apple did well with the design of this product. It is made very well. Just make sure to eject the disk before unplugging it from your mac.

Bought this with my new iMac. Plug it in, and it's ready to go! No software to load, just start using it! How easy it that? Love my new iMac!

I really enjoy my MacBook Air but still like burning some CDs or playing DVDs. The Superdrive makes this possible. Just plugged it in and it worked.

this product does with it is supposed to do, I guess you are paying the apple tax for the design and quality of the device but nowadays any $20 Drive will do the same exact thing. so if design is not important to You, go with the cheapest option.

Great addition to my macbook. Wish the macbooks still had them internal. But works just as good.

I bought this as an add-on to a new Mac desktop. It's great! Super compact so it doesn't take up much room on my desk. I've already used it to download lots of photos!
