I bought this when upgrading the last of our computers to a machine without a native CD drive. It's worked exactly as needed so far, and is easily portable.

This makes It very easy to play or import music or watch dvds on newer Mac computers that don’t have a drive built In. Works very well.

Recently purchased this to go along with our new macbook pro. Great to use when we need to view old pictures that are on cd's. Just don't know if it will read music cd's?

I purchased this apple super drive knowing it's plenty other brands out there but this worked very well. Just plug it in and your set. Nice and simple!

I've had Toshibas before and they have been very reliable. My new Toshiba is a lot thinner and lighter to carry. I like the various configurations-laptop, tablet, etc... The keyboard is comfortable to us. I also like the fact that it has a separate keypad for numerals.

Definitely no a tech geek, so anytime I find a product that has easy installation and use, I highly recommend.

So simple to use. Plug it right in and start using.... Kind of miss it being in the Macbook Pro but then again it is nice for it to be soooo slim and sleek. I love it...

I had a very hard time deciding to purchase such an expensive computer since I only use it to surf the web, send emails, watch movies, and play brain games. I kept going back and forth, but finally I bought it because it was so sleek and beautiful. I had a 2010 Mac Book Pro which I loved, but there is no comparison. This computer is really fantastic. I am not a computer expert, but I plan to learn how to use the many features it has to offer. The colors and images on the screen are amazing. The speakers are also wonderful. I'm glad I bought it !!!! I can't stay off it now.

I'm not an expert by any means, but I'm loving my Apple! This is the first one I've owned and it's meeting and passing all my performance expectations.

Initially I could not get the computer to recognize the SuperDrive. Inconsistent. After a few days, I called Apple; a tech and then a supervisor worked with me for two hours. Suggestion: return the unit and USB/USBc cord. I did so, unpackaged the replacement unit, inserted a disc and PERFECTO! No problems with the new unit, now a happy customer.

The Apple SuperDrive works as advertised. It is not fancy but does it's job. It took me a couple tries to figure it out (software) but finally got it.
