Great product, easy for everyone to use. Wasn't so sure about it at first because is external now. Better than I had hoped for.

Although I like the cd Rom in the computer at first after using the apple super drive it's quick and portable which is nice. I would recommend this to anyone.

New MacBooks don't come with one and this is great to have with your MacBook. Easy to use and no software required

Loved this product, all you have to do is connected to the computer and presto, it connects automatically. You don't have to upload any application or special software.

I purchased this Super Drive because my 27" iMac didn't come with one onboard, After using it, I rather like having a separate detached drive.

The new iMac computers come without a drive. I am not a big fan of this decision by Apple. This drive is easy to connect and works great. A "must get" product.

I bought this external hard drive, because unlike the previous iMac the new ones no longer have a cd drive. It is sleek and compact and has the same finish as the iMac.

Definitely no a tech geek, so anytime I find a product that has easy installation and use, I highly recommend.

If you're like me, older and still enjoy DVDs, this is a must have! Highly recommended!

I purchased this drive after purchasing a non brand. The non brand stopped working after a month. The Apple super drive hasn't given any problems. No need to disconnect everyday or worried it won't open when disk is ejected. This is a great item to have

I had to get a new MacBook...they no longer have a disk drive. I guess we are moving away from disk/cd use/storage and this is another way for Apple to keep taking more of my money (luckily, I got it when it was marked down/on sale). The new MacBooks cost the same or more, but without the disk drive/memory card & USB ports. Do I really need it? To tell you the truth...I have a few CDs that I still need to transfer to my iTunes library (that I pay Apple to store in the cloud for me). After that, it'll probably never get used again. Don't buy one...Borrow a friend's.

Works just like it is supposed to and will work with the 2019 MacBook Pro you just need to buy the Usb c to usb a adapter

Since the new computer is so slim & doesn't have a slot on the side for a disk, this External super drive is nice & neat and sits out of the way .Works well.

I needed a new Drive for my computer. This was the perfect choice. It is compact and works great with my Apple laptop. It is super easy to easy as well.

It was a good price, and will be handy to have. I like that my computer is lighter for traveling since I don't always need the drive. And the shipping was quick.

My son needed a computer with a CD drive because some of the course packs came with CD's. We bought this CD drive because the sales person recommended it. It works great.

Initially I could not get the computer to recognize the SuperDrive. Inconsistent. After a few days, I called Apple; a tech and then a supervisor worked with me for two hours. Suggestion: return the unit and USB/USBc cord. I did so, unpackaged the replacement unit, inserted a disc and PERFECTO! No problems with the new unit, now a happy customer.

Amazingly fast performance for an external drive. I keep it on my desk and plug it in on the rare occasion (once a month maybe) that I need to burn or read a CD or DVD.
