I bought this for my iMac since it didn't come with it. It's very small so it didn't take up much space on my desk. Worth buying if you really need the drive.

A no brainer to have an external drive. Perfect for keeping pictures or anything safe that you do not want to lose.

This is a standard disc drive for those with newer Macbooks that don't have the built-in optical drives. Although it costs a pretty penny for its use, it is made with Apple's high quality and pleasing aesthetic, making sure that it will be reliable in years to come.

Since the newer models don't come with the drive anymore and I need one for all the things I do, this is the best. Easy to use from start to finish.

This Superdrive works as advertised to provide a transportable DVD capability for the Mac mini or the two MacBook Airs in our family. The Apple brand and the box with all the nice packaging and plastic wrapping that removes easily gives each user that warm and fuzzy that this is another quality Apple branded product. Other than the cost the only other nuance is that the integrated USB 2.0 cable is really, really short and that it limits how far away from the Mac it will stray. The other positive is that this slot drive DVD is also powered by the USB and there is no requirements for a separate power cable. to use it.

This is a great accessory for MacBooks that don’t have the USB port in them. DVDs play well and it was not expensive!

The adapter for Mac laptops to watch movies and burn CDs is a great accessory. It's very portable and easy to travel with. The price is reasonable. It's a great product.

We were looking for ways to play DVDs on my MacBook Air since it didn't come with one. I love how fast it is. But I don't like that I have to connect it via usb.

This device is great, the cable is a little short but that can easily be remedied with an extension cable if needed. For laptop users though the cable is probably the ideal length. The design is impeccable - it's compact, made of aluminum not cheap plastic like the other brands I've seen and like any other Apple product that I've ever owned it just works! Over and over and over again it just works... I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one if I ever need to.

I love the Mac book air! We already have an apple desktop so it was easy to download everything to the lap top. It's light, easy to travel with and has everything we need!

Purchase this for my nieces Mac Book. She said it was easy for her to install and use. Made me happy to know she’s enjoying it for her job.

nice addition to my Mac mini.....I don’t use a drive much anymore with all the other technology available...slim and doesn’t clutter up my desk

I have one for Mac mini and thought it was very useful so I bought one for my daughter and son in law for their new I mac. Great to backup pic etc

Prefect CD player/ writer for beginner/ immediate users. Alot of cd device that are much better, but unless your into gaming or flash to bang results the Apple cd device is prefect for day to day use. In my case every other week use.

This a necessary if you still use and have dvd's that you need to use. Works great

I am never disappointed with Apple's easy setup. I considered some less expensive alternatives, but decided on this one, plunged it in, and it works great.

Wish my MacBook Air had a built in drive but this works well. Easy to use. Not super fast but adequate.

Not much to say about CD drives. Originally, pricey, I got this one aas an open box. Thanks to the person who did not need/watnt it before me.

I purchased this needing a drive to accompany my new macbook pro, it works really well perfect! its very easy to use so its great for beginners just plug and play.
