Only cd device I will use with Apple products

Alot of cd device that are much better, but unless your into gaming or flash to bang results the Apple cd device is prefect for day to day use. In my case every other week use.

Truly plug and go

This external hard drive does the job, and looks good attached to my MacBook. It supports double-layer DVDs, which can fit 8.5 GB of data. Perfect for backing up photos, videos, music and important documents. I've had hard drives and flash drives fail after a few years, but discs can last for decades. Chances are the data you burn to a disc will live longer than you will. Two small quibbles: no blu-ray, and the USB cord is rather short.

Small and easy to use

So easy!

So I bought the Apple - SuperDrive 8x External USB Double-Layer DVD RW/CD-RW Drive because I needed to move over 1000 pictures from my old 15" mac to my new 13" mac. The external DVD drive is so easy to install and so easy to use. I never had to question anything nor did I have to refer to the instruction manual. This is a perfect way to keep the weight off the 13" mac especially if one has to travel with a computer!!!
