It does exactly what you think it does and looks good doing it. There's not a lot to say here other than, to me, it was an essential part of my MacBook Air purchase.

This was the perfect addition to my 21" iMac. It installed easily and worked perfectly. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who needs an external media drive.

A no brainer to have an external drive. Perfect for keeping pictures or anything safe that you do not want to lose.

This is a standard disc drive for those with newer Macbooks that don't have the built-in optical drives. Although it costs a pretty penny for its use, it is made with Apple's high quality and pleasing aesthetic, making sure that it will be reliable in years to come.

This is something that I needed for my projects. It works great. Highly would recommend. Wish they made it in a darker color though.

I am never disappointed with Apple's easy setup. I considered some less expensive alternatives, but decided on this one, plunged it in, and it works great.

We were looking for ways to play DVDs on my MacBook Air since it didn't come with one. I love how fast it is. But I don't like that I have to connect it via usb.

I use this drive with my new 27" iMac and it works perfectly. This is definitely faster than the built-in "superdrive" on my mid-2007 iMac, and quieter, too. It sits nicely on top of the iMac stand, blending in with the design and looking like it belongs there. I plan to get a second for my wife's computer rather than using the sharing feature since it's pretty affordable. If you've got an iMac, this is the drive to buy.

I had a different drive prior to buying this one. The other quit working. So far the Apple drive works well with my macbook. I'm happy with my purchase!

The adapter for Mac laptops to watch movies and burn CDs is a great accessory. It's very portable and easy to travel with. The price is reasonable. It's a great product.

This Superdrive works as advertised to provide a transportable DVD capability for the Mac mini or the two MacBook Airs in our family. The Apple brand and the box with all the nice packaging and plastic wrapping that removes easily gives each user that warm and fuzzy that this is another quality Apple branded product. Other than the cost the only other nuance is that the integrated USB 2.0 cable is really, really short and that it limits how far away from the Mac it will stray. The other positive is that this slot drive DVD is also powered by the USB and there is no requirements for a separate power cable. to use it.

My old Cd drive that was offbrand didn't work well with Apple. But got this one and it works great. Plug in Burn. plug-and-play have a good night

I love the Mac book air! We already have an apple desktop so it was easy to download everything to the lap top. It's light, easy to travel with and has everything we need!
