New computers aren't coming with an internal drive to read CD's or DVD's. This device was super easy to use, just plug it it. Very user friendly

Replaced my old Mac with new Air Mac and found out you can't live without a drive like this to load CDs and burn copies you may need - works as promised.

This is a great accessory for use with iMAC. Easy to use right out of the box. Recommend as a go to accessory if you buy iMAC.

This optical drive works exactly as described. It's simple to operate, and nice to look at. I would recommend it to any Mac owner in need of an optical drive.

Easy to connect with USB to my Mac and it works great to download CDs to my iTunes. Worked fine for dozens of my CDs so far.

Since the newer laptops and MacBooks don't have internal DVD/CD drives, I had to buy an external drive. The Apple SuperDrive works great. It it played Blu-Ray DVDs I would have rated it 5 stars.

The drive itself works great and is pretty easy to use but I had to try three different USB 2 to USB-C adapters until I found one that worked correctly with a new Mac. I wish Apple had a newer version that did not require an adapter.

Though it sucks having to carry around a second piece to the computer, its a great product that is easy to use.

This Apple USB SuperDrive is a great accessory for newer MacBooks. The Apple USB SuperDrive is really fast and it is not too loud.

So easy, so smooth, watched a dvd and burnt a cd within minutes and its so small and portable, cool. I don't think it does blue-ray but i don't care.

Use for music, works very good down loaded off a cd & was relatively simple? Will recommend to a friend if anyone is in need

Lacking one star for being another Apple product that has to be purchased separately. But all in all, it was easy to connect and use with my iMAC and Macbook Air laptop. I was able to read a CD-ROM of photographs and watch DVDs. I have yet t use it as a burner.

Works great, easily connected to the Apple MacBook. Makes it easy to view DVDs on Apple MacBook or with connector can watch DVDs on the television.

needed a CD burner to create CD's for a client (they don't use FTP sites - weird, right!?) This burner works great, super easy to install - just plug and run!

This worked great as an addition to my Mac Air. Bought it as a gift for my daughter, makes watching movies easy and downloading pics great

I use my MacBook Air for both work and pleasure, this is a must have if you don't always download your movies or any related work documents.

It does what it is supposed to do with the purchase of proper adapters. Wish Apple just included these in the laptops so you didn’t have to spend a few hundred dollars in add ones to get what was sold a few years ago.
