For those few times you need to access DVD or CD ROM, this well sized add on does the job allowing the main laptop to be lighter and more portable.

This Superdrive is great to use with a Macbook. You do not have to install anything to use it, you just plug it in the USB port and go. The price is reasonable for this device and it is needed since the new Macbooks do not have CD drives. Great product.

This is the second DVD from Apple that I’ve purchased and have never had a problem with either one. Plug it in and go to work.

We purchased this as additional fridge/freezer for our basement. We already have a beautiful full fridge and freezer upstairs in the kitchen, so we didn't need to go "all out." Just needed something that would get the job done for extra storage... Mostly for parties and overflow when our main fridge gets full. This is perfect! Really good quality for the price and is working great. Definitely would recommend for someone shopping for the same thing... Or if you're looking for a primary fridge/freezer and you're shopping on a budget.

Since Apple doesn't include a disk drive in their iMacs I needed an external one and this one was reasonably priced and works great

When I bought my latest iMac, I found it no longer comes with an internal superdrive. I tried using an external BD/DVD drive, but it was not reliable resulting in 4 consecutive failed burns. The Apple SuperDrive worked flawlessly without a failed burn so far.

I'm really glad that I purchased this external drive. It's fast and efficient and I've been able to get the jobs done without any hiccups.

The drive works and connected flawlessly. There was no issues Connecting drive to the Mac. It worked as expected.
