This drive is cool

This is nice, easy set up, just plug it into the Mac. It’s a bit slow, but that’s ok. Gets the job done.

Only wish it could read Blu-Ray. The literature clearly states it does not and drives that will aren't Apple "friendly" and require software to write

Seems to be a problem with the imac after awhile. Seems to be a heat dispersion issue from what I have read on the net. This was a cheaper option than replacing the internal drive.
