Solid CD/DVD Drive, Bit Expensive

The price is a bit more than similar products. Also, you cannot manually eject the discs--however, in the years I've used the product, I've not required this feature.

The first support person had no luck either. I was directed to a supervisor who set me straight by asking "Is the Apple Logo up or down on the DVD unit?" It was up. Turned the unit over with the Logo down (not visible) and it worked flawlessly. Instructions had no statement for Logo up or down. In my mind the Logo was meant to be seen not hidden. Otherwise a good unit.

Good cd/dvd drive for Mac

Well, we aren't streamers so DVD's are still part of our life. We have played DVD's and it works well. Picture quality is good. This player works with the iMac with Catalina and we got an open box model at a discount! It is a true Apple device, just plug and play!

Great portabe drive
