||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although it's more expensive to add a DVD/cd drive instead of it being a part of the laptop, I'm willing to go with this for 2 reasons. 1. The laptop ends up with less bulk and weight without it, and it's not really used as much as in the past anyway. 2. Instead of the fragile slide out tray, with this type of unit one just inserts the DVD or cd into the slot. Less to easily break. To me, this is the more important feature of this drive.
