I somewhat dislike the fact that it's peripheral hardware, but I understand that the CD/DVD hardware is going the way of the Do-Do. However, it is still necessary for me.

Great gift for a iMac

Apple products are always great!

I'll never buy the "off brand" items because they just don't work as well with the apple products that you get. If you buy apple, continue to buy apple. It will never disappoint you. They have a great program for everything, including their warranties and their products. Ultimately, you get what you pay for and this product is definitely worth the cost.
