I was really hesitant to buy this at first because of the reviews but I really needed a cd drive because the newest macs don't have them anymore. I love cds. I have been using this for hundreds of cds to download them to my itunes and it still works beautifully. The only reason why i dont give it 5 stars is because the cord is WAY too short and theres no way to change that. Also i have had some issues with 2 cds where it would not eject so i have force eject it (command E) but then it would work

Good solution for Mac book pro with ratina

Necessary component for any Retina Mac

Unfortunately, the iDVD isn't on the Retina mac. Gone are the days of easy to burn home DVDs!
