    Works fine, but I was spoiled by having it IN my old computer. It's just one more thing to juggle in a limited space. The more you have hooked up to a laptop, the less it is a laptop.

    If you purchase a Retina Mac, you also must get this if you plan to use CDs or DVDs, (the Retina has no drive). Unfortunately, the iDVD isn't on the Retina mac. Gone are the days of easy to burn home DVDs!
