Since the new MacBook Pro and the iMacs do not have incorporated CD DVD Drives and burn, we must buy a drive which can both play and burn CD's and DVD's. It does an excellent job, effortlessly and fast. It is easy to use.

I love the Apple external hard drive as it is a slimline, hard drive that is easy to use and carry with you. It pulls up on your existing hard drive with easy recognition and is easy to use. If you are needing more storage buy this product today.

I'm very happy with this CD drive. I went with this one rather than a cheaper alternative as I trust the quality of Apple products which is why my equipment is all Apple. The speed is very comparable to other similar drives and it is very quiet.

It's an Apple, so it is beautiful, but in retrospect, I think I should have gone with a blu-ray reader/writer that can be had for about 2/3 the cost. Also no eject button on the drive. Trust me there are times when the computer locks up or doesn't recognize the drive where it would be handy to eject the disk without looking up some combination of key strokes to hold down on startup.

I like that they didn't take up space and add weight to my Macbook Pro by having an internal drive. It's a nuisance to have it external but I personally use it rarely. Very fast, easy installation. Classy looking as one would expect.

I love this item. It is small, sleek, and perfect size to fit in my computer bag. Easy to operate and works well with the newest MacBook.

I bought this for my MacBook Pro with retina display bc it doesn't come with one. Which I didn't mind, bc it's faster and a lot lighter than the previous models. Just wanted to keep a cd drive handy in case I needed to install or burn CDs.

Given that my iMac came without a disc drive it was a simple decision to go with this item. Not only does it look great, it's small and sleek and doesn't take up tons of space. It's fast and performs to the typical Apple standard.

A must if you want to use your DVD, CD's, etc. on your MacBook Air since it doesn't have a CD/DVD reader/writer. Very small and useful. Just plug it in the USB and you are ready to go. No hardware to lose nor software to load - Plug and Play!

Purchased this SuperDrive because I have a newer model Apple MacMini desktop computer and it does not have a CD drive to upload music to my Itunes account from my music CD's. Virtually foolproof to use; a 3 year old can use this machine. Pop your CD in the drive and all your instructions come up on your screen asking what you want to do. Since all my devices are Apple, I highly recommend this product over a cheaper brand. You won't be disappointed.

As much as I love my laptop, there are occasions when I need a disc drive. This was exactly what I needed. It's small and lightweight enough to fit easily in my bag. You simply plug it in and go. My only wish is that the cord were longer.

Easy to set up and use. Awesome product . Couldn't ask for a better drive. Very quiet and works great. I would definitely tell people to buy it. Price was a little high but worth it.

I missed having a disk drive once I went to Mac Mini but with this Super Drive I have it again. Just plug and play, fairly quite and fast enough for me. Sleek and trim.

this external drive was a gift and the recipient LOVES that he can now watch his favorite DVDs on his MAC Air Pro. Sleek simple design is classic Apple.

Easy to use. Been meaning to buy one for awhile and finally got it. Great value. Writes super fast. Bought it to write videos that I've transferred from VHS tapes and works great.
