In compatibility Issue

Unfortunately, the images are only compatible with windows. I kept it since it may come in handy for other purposes.

Only works on Macs without CD/DVD drives!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you have an Apple iMac, laptop or MacMini that does NOT have a built in optical drive, then these Super Drives are GREAT. However, you should know that these drives do NOT work on older Macs that DO have built in optical drives. I bought this for an iMac with a non-working CD/DVD drive and was surprised to find it would not accept any discs. So I give it only three stars for lack of compatibility. There are hacks to make these work on any Mac. But I returned mine and ordered an LG usb optical drive for $45 that looks and works great.
