Great love it. Match’s the exterior finish/color of my mac/apple. It’s so convienient fits into my pouch that I carry my apple mac in if I take it with me. Disc slide in and out fast.

Exactly what I needed to use CD's with my new MacBook Pro. I decided to buy the 13" for much cheaper than the 15" which meant I didn't have a built-in CD drive. However, the portable drive works excellent.

It's a shame the drive is not built in to the MacBooks but you have to give up something for its portability. Aside from that it's a slim light weight drive, it looks great and even matches the machines look.

This is perfect for anyone who wants to run CDs or DVDs on a MacBook. As a teacher, I wanted to play some audio books as we read along in the textbook. This allowed me to do that. My only complaint is that it took a little time to let the CD load the first time because it would ask if I wanted to sync it to my iTunes. (It can take a few minutes if you decide to sync.) I have read reviews about some people having problems with skipping when using a separate drive, but I didn't have that problem at all with this device. We've watched movies and listened to CDs without any problems--sometimes using it 5+ hours each day. It was easy to switch between tracks to pick up where we left off the previous day. I would definitely recommend it to others.

Glad I purchased this for my Apple Mac book pro. I like the fact that if is portable and only need it when it’s necessary. Works great!

The external USB is easy to use - plug it in and it's easy to figure out how to use for various needs. I record music onto CD's and it has done a great job. The size is great also - sleek.

I have an embroidery sewing machine and I often order designs online, download them to a disk, and then enter the disk into my sewing machine disk reader. This external disk drive/burner is exactly what I needed to do that task. Whenever I download a design to my Mac Desktop and put a disk into the burner an icon appears on screen that walks me through the process effortlessly. I am very happy with this product. The only disappointment was that it will not work on a Windows based machine to download information (I had some designs on my old Gateway product but it would not recognize this disk drive.). It will only work on Apple products.

This device works as advertised. Start-up is simple and although I have not tested it exhaustively I would say it performs as advertised. It is also thin and doesn't take up much space.

My new iMac doesn't have a Superdrive and that made this a necessary purchase for me. I like it's portability and I can use it with my Mac AirBook. Very slim and sits nicely on the desktop.

I got this to work with some apple compatible programs and old data with my new computer, it works great. Limitless potential accomplished!

imac at least the one i got doesn't come with a drive, so purchased the external apple one, love it works great and very quite, nice if you still you them...LOL

It works great with my new MacBook Pro with retina display. My new MacBook Pro does not have a DVD drive so this external DVD/CD writer works great.

This works perfect for my MacBook Pro. It’s compact in size, and is kept Tucktaway nicely until needed. Transfer speeds seem good and the device is working as anticipated. Other than the price, I think it’s a great purchase.

I like how this color blends in with my iMac. The cord is short so keeping it close is a must. It is also very small so storing this is very easy.

This is a perfect solution to the newer Apple computers without CD/DVD internal drivers...very quiet, compact and lightweight.

In this age of higher speed Internet and wi-fi connections, DVD players and burners are probably doomed to go the way of the floppy disk, but this is a very nice one. If you want to use your Macbook to view a video or listen to a music CD, this works fine. If you need to burn a DVD or CD for any reason, it will do it. When you plug it into a USB port, the driver loads and it's ready to use almost immediately. Almost every day, the need for a DVD/CD drive/burner is less and less, but if you need one or want one, you won't be disappointed with this one.

Just plug it into your apple computer; the computer automatically identifies it and you'll all set to go. I like the clean design and the size.

Perfect size for video film screening workshops and watching DVDs. Plugged and Played seamlessly. I don't mind having to eject from the navigation bar because that is what I do with my other devices.

We needed to load some files quickly and it simply worked easily. We were moving a lot of backup files and transitioning 3 computers. It worked flawlessly and takes very little space or power.
