SuperDrive works well when correctly installed

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Once I got the SuperDrive installed correctly, it has worked fine - I think I initially had a little issue with it not recognizing the USB ports on a non-Apple port panel I have attached to my MacBookPro. Plugging it into a USB port on my Apple Thunderbolt monitor worked fine. A bit more documentation would have been helpful!

A must with Mac Air.

A Necessary Piece of Equipment

Without the built in capabilities for disk insertion, the only way to play or burn would be with a device similar to the Apple SuperDrive. As with any Apple product, the mechanics are solid. You won't regret the purchase of this necessary accessory.
