SuperDrive works great .

The online backup did not perform as we had hoped but we also had our data backed up on an external disc which really saved the day. We have now purchased a second backup drive (this one) to be the primary backup of our photo files which consist of a few thousand photos.

One con- bought this the same time as a new MacBook (as they no longer have built-in DVD drives and my wife needs one for work). Was rather annoyed to learn the DVD drive and laptop won't connect without buying a separate Apple-proprietary USB to USB-C cord. For what we paid for the laptop and the DVD drive, this should have been included in with ONE of them.
