Doesn’t work on MacBooks w/ an internal disc drive

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this after my internal MacBook drive stopped accepting discs, only to find out this external drive only works on systems that did not come with an internal drive—what the heck? Seems like an odd limitation to implement on Apple’s part. Needless to say it was returned and I went with a $25 non-Apple option that works great!
