    My most recent MacBook Pro doesn't have a disk drive(dd). As I am getting old (Oh, heck, I'm already old-I just don't like to admit it.) I felt uncomfortable with a Mac lacking that component. I have not used the this product very much, but the seems to work as well as well as the dd included with my previous Mac-which is to say, "Just fine."
