DVD/CD drive

I am switching from a Toshiba laptop, where the DVD/CD player was built in to an external drive used for the macOS Sierra. The only thing I had trouble with was figuring out out to extract a CD once it was in. (No buttons on the hard drive.). I had to figure it out by asking Siri. Otherwise, everything is fine. I like that the outer case is sturdy and solid. If it accidentally fell on the floor, I doubt it would damage anything.
