Glad to have a disc drive

Glad I got this really adds that functionality back and it works great. Just wish it connected via thunderbolt.

The only thing was that I wound up buying Apple’s USB-A to USB-C connecter in order to use it as my mini doc was not able to power it.

Great for Apple Users
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having just said a sad farewell to my 11 year old iMac, I bought a new one which is great except that it doesn't have a DVD/CD drive. I realize many people have no need of one, but I have both DVD's and CD's and not being able to use them was unacceptable. So I bought the SuperDrive and it meshed seamlessly with my iMac and my old MacBook and seems to be working just fine. You can probably find something cheaper but I like the certainty of Apple products doing what they're supposed to do.
