    Just another accessory that Apple makes consumers purchase if they want to still watch DVD's and burn home videos onto DVD or install software by disk. It would be nice if Apple still made laptops with built in DVD players. I can see why they don't anymore since DVD's and disks will be obsolete in about 10-15 years. Everything will be digital and transferred or viewed through USB flash drives or through download digital copies or super fast streaming.
