    After a long web search, I was able to find Windows drivers for this Apple device. It works very nicely - writing files to both CDs and DVDs. My old drive had died, and now I"ll be able to take this one to an Apple (Mac) when my PC eventually dies - yes, it will not be obsolescent in my larger plan for eventual transition.

    I’m very impressed with the construction of this CC DVD player writer. The case is heavy duty and appears to be made of aluminum. I have it hooked up to my iMac and so far it has operated flawlessly for both reading and writing.

    Same great DVD/CD drive, just external now. That means you have to keep track of it. But it works the same and is fast to use.

    GREAT little drive. I can disconnect to use on other computers and it uses a really small "footprint", leaving lots of desk space for other things. The thinness of it is a bonus too, as I can stack other items on top, since it is aluminum and can support the extra weight.
