It works fine it's quiet and efficient

If you own aMAC and this item isn't saving or burning it doesn't tell you to adjust your permissions I spent a couple hours with support thinking something was either wrong with burner or needed something like a driver when it was a file sharing permission. It works fine and it doesn't take too long burn files it's quite simple to operate

VERY small "footprint"

I can disconnect to use on other computers and it uses a really small "footprint", leaving lots of desk space for other things. The thinness of it is a bonus too, as I can stack other items on top, since it is aluminum and can support the extra weight.

Don't settle for any other

It had many problems... noisy, slow, unable to read many discs. My Apple Superdrive has none of those issues. It stands up to it's brand's reputation.. quality.
