The product looks nice, but does not have an eject button.

This is a good product if you understand how to properly burn cds. Unfortunately for me I struggled for a while when trying to figure out how to do it on a Mac. The product does what it’s supposed to do though.

The best drive I have ever bought. Works great with MacBook pro

External CD / DVD Drive for my mac works very well.

Read the box.. Its only for machine which did not originally come with a DVD drive. I took mine out and replaced it with a SSD drive. Then decided while on the road to purchase an external to use from time to time. Not happening.. so if you took your original out and need a replacement, get the LG.

As an Apple product, this drive is pretty stellar. The only thing keeping me from giving it a full 5 stars is the fact that it doesn't work with older Macs nor does it work with any Mac that has an optical drive on it already. While I use mine for a new MBP, i was hoping to use it with my older iMac that has a bad SuperDrive. Also, I wish the USB cable was a little longer just so I could place it out of the way.

I wasn't. sure this item would be what I needed, but after my purchase and the plug/play feature of the device I was excited. The Apple USB SuperDrive has been great. I'm new with Apple products and was very happy I was able to purchase this additional piece of equipment.

I gave this 4 stars primarily because of an issue with Apple and the fact that they can't resolve it. The drive works well but will not work without rebooting the machine. It is supposed to be hot swappable but no go for me. Have talked to Apple 3 times at length and finally was told the issue was unusual and they would have thier programmers get back to me...... 2 months ago. no response on emails or any kind of update. bummer.

I have not used it enough to really know if I like it. I recently purchased a new IMac and it did not have one built in anymore, which I think it should be, so in order to upload my CDs I had to purchase this at an additional cost of $80.00. I have used the product twice and it works fine.

It goes with the look of the desk top, more expensive than it has to be. It works like I expected ...

The Apple super drive enables use of disk input into any new laptop or desk unit. Comes with UPS cable.

Great Product...Everyone needs to own one of these. Very fast and easy to set up. I would recommend it to anyone.

I purchased my iMac and needed a external disc drive. This was a great accessory to have for my iMac.

Once I figured out that I had connected it upside down, it was simple to use. Upside down, the DVD/CD kept ejecting.

After doing research for an optical drive for my iMac I decided to go with the SuperDrive. At first i did not want to go with this optical drive i was looking at cheaper drives but after reading all the reviews and knowing the reliability of Apple products is what sold me on the more expensive drive.

I truly recommend this to all friends and family, it's light weight and super fast

This is a great addition to my MacBook Air. When you need a DVD Writer this works well. The power cord is a little short, but that is just a little issue. It fits well in my Case and adds very little weight to carry around. Overall, I like it, has a great look and defiantly looks like an apple product.

I was running out of hard drive space so I decided to back up all my files and keep my work safe, this is a well needed Export hard drive I feel safe that all my hard work is safe.

Be sure you get this one.The sales person kept trying to sell me a different one because he was "sure" it would work. Also be sure you put the black side with the apple logo on the down side. Otherwise it will not work. I almost took it back before I found that tip online.
