What can I say. If you want to read/write CDs/DVDs you need this drive with any new Mac. Works great. Just be aware it needs to be plugged directly into the usb on your machine as it takes power from the usb.

So far, it works well. I wish that it had an eject button, but other that that, it works fine.

Plug and play. So easy for me to use right out of the box. I was pleasantly surprised!

I like the low profile look to the disc drive and how easy it was install and was completely streamline

Awesome drive! Connects directly to Macbook Air and can connect to Mac-mini with an Apple USB adaptor (all available at Best Buy). If you are thinking about it, don't wait...Apple has a habit of discontinuing things we like.

If you need a DVD drive for your MacBook Air, this is the one to buy. Works seamlessly with no problems

The superdrive is really quite necessary now that so many laptops do not have built in drives. I create DVD's of movies and photos for clients/friends with material just too large to handle with email -- and you know the disc is going to last and not accidentally get deleted.

I would recommend this product I burned old CDs with no problem. Gets the job done.

Best Buy makes it so easy, I can't praise them enough for the efforts they put forth during this pandemic. It takes a lot of work and coordination to do what you do and I want you to know that I appreciate it.

I chose an Apple Super Drive over LG due to the fact that I like Apple Products and what the sales person told me about the Apple Super Drive. I wanted to watch movies on my computer and download photos to discs for friends. I have watched movies and the SD worked perfectly.

this DVD R/W isJust what you need since Apple doesn't supply one on their system. You would think that the cost of the Mac would include a dvd player and read write unit but it doesn't. so you have to spend more to buy one.

This works well without issues, but is pricey compared to others in the market.

I purchased a MacBook Pro and now that MacBooks don’t come with disc drive I needed a reliable one for some work. Nothing better than this one . An Apple SuperDrive.

This is honestly the best drive that I have ever had for a mac product both internal and external. The drive is smooth and fluid with both reading and writing. It is just super.

Nothing special but, it works without a flaw. It's all plug and play and looks nice.
