Have only had the need to use this once so far but had no troubles.

Making DVDs is so fun and backing up my so very important files makes me feel at ease.

this product is very handy since the IMAC does not have a CD ROM drive...very easy to use.

I wish that it had a USB C end on it, but it works good for using cds on my Mac

the superdrive itself I learned needs to be plugged directly into a USB port, not a hub. But I still wonder why they can't make optical drives built into the machines anymore. its now almost an extra $100 purchase just so you can install programs that aren't downloaded from the App Store. Hmmm, maybe that is the reason? they only want us to use the App Store and download things.

This drive is good, so far no issues and easy to connect.

Compact and works well. It is very easy to use. Service at the store was excellent.

This was sold to be at Best Buy for my 2011 MacBook Pro. Got it home and it wouldn't work. Found out it won't work with 2011 MacBooks. Had to return it. I ended up getter no a Pioneer that also takes blue ray disks that is better than the Apple drive.

Easy connection to my new mac. Just dont like how laptops moving to external drive.

Bought this drive for my macbook pro retina display laptop, cant complain at all. Sturdy build and no lag, I use alot of cds and dvds still so itbworks perfect for me. I highly recommend this if you use cds too.

I spent $4000 on the latest i mac. Amazingly it doesn't have a DVD reader. Had to buy this add on or throw out 1000 DVDs I own. Just another effort to get us to pay monthly cloud storage fees. Don't you hate paying for ALL your movies each and every month?

We would never consider anything but Apple products at our location. We have been buying them for years and they never let us down. This newest one just keeps building off of Apple's commitment to make the best.

Needed e tern all drive since mac did not have built in DVD drive. This worked great.

I love the sleek look. It does exactly what it’s made to do. Just kinda pricy, but I only like apple products connected to my MacBook.

Everything I expect from BB and Apple. Appple price just a bit high for such a dated product

Just another Apple component. Nice to have an Apple version but there are cheaper versions that do the same if not more then what this Apple Super Drive does

My mom didn't quite understand about the extras that Apple came with but was pleasantly pleased with this. The employees were so nice and very helpful and because of this, I definitely plan on shopping at Best Buy for all of my electronics.

Since there is no internal drive the option to have a stand alone drive will be very useful.

Works good, for watching dvd's and playing music on my computer.

For all those people who still need to use a disc from time to time you're going to need this. It's an apple so it functions well & the quality is superb!
