Great MacPro iPad

Super drive

It crashed after 1 day. I got my money back & bought a real Apple Super Drive & have had no issues at all. It works fine!

Apple - SuperDrive 8x External USB

However I would have liked it to come with a USB-C connection so that it would hook easily into other Apple Product without purchasing an adapter. You would have thought that Apple would have updated this device.

And, competitive pricing on Apple products, what more needs to be said? Best Buy for Apple!

Needed an optical drive

It connected fast and was easy to use. We own a MAC and have learned it’s just easier to use Apple products.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a cd writer for my MacBook and decided that this was the one I wanted. I trust Apple's quality (most of the time) and liked that it would match with my Mac's aluminum chassis. Upon purchasing it, I found a few flaws. The first was that the USB cable did not disconnect from the back of the writer; it was built right in. While if you plan on leaving this connected to an iMac or desktop PC this shouldn't be a problem, for mobility I believe this will lead to ultimate failure. Chords break or loose connectivity and without the ability to replace a $1 chord, I believe I will be left with a pretty aluminum brick. I also didn't like that there was no eject button (but that was not a deal breaker). I ended up returning it and went with a different model. I later went to Apple's own website and people were far less kind than I when reviewing the writer. If mobility matters, keep looking.
