Was easy to set up and takes up very little space. It sets on the foot of the stand for the computer.

Bought this with the latest MacBook for my daughter. Didn't intend to buy it because the MacBook I had planned on buying was older and had an internal DVD drive but the store Apple guy talked to me about the latest MacBook and sold me on that instead. The latest MacBook doesn't have the DVD drive built in so I had to buy this external one. Find it to be a good drive and since it's Apple it doesn't cause any issues with the MacBook.

I highly recommend the Apple Super Drive DVD burner. It looks great, is small and easy to store and seems to run fast. Since most Apple computers no longer come with internal DVD drives this is a great option when you have to have one.

This is a must if you want to play DVDs on you computer. Nice compact size and easy plug and play. Just wish Apple could burn bluray disks as well.

This drive was super easy to set up and it's quite and fast. Kind of bummed the macs don't have a built in drive but its not that much more extra.

CD Rom drives are going away. Get this one instead. Does the job and portable. Does not take up much space. CD/DVDs etc.

A little more expensive than some of the others but easy set up and because it,s made to go with I Mac I feel it,s worth the price difference

If you are looking for a CD/DVD player/writer, spend the money and buy the Apple one versus a different brand name. The reason is because I originally bought the $39.99 one that should have worked and Best Buy tech support told me would work, but it did not. I returned it and bought the Apple product and it has not disappointed. You can always try to get this one on sale as it does go on sale periodically.

I purchased this USB Superdrive for my MacBook and I love it. As far as size it's small, sleek, compact and super easy to use.

Plugs into a regular USB port and immediately available for use. Works great but like many Apple products is a bit overpriced.

Paired this remote drive with a recent Macbook Air purchase and it works flawlessly so far. Only used to download software as of yet. You may need to buy the USB adapter to connect to the USB-A port on a mac (I did). So happens there was a caution just issued by Apple to avoid certain adapters/hubs that are not Apple on M1's that cause the laptop to freeze or worse.

We bought this to provide the backup for my Mac laptop. So far it has worked flawlessly. Time Machine reminds me when a backup is overdue and I switch on the drive, plug in the USB cord and start Time Machine. I have had occasions when I needed to retrieve a file that got inadvertently deleted and had no problem copying it from the backup back onto the computer. I'm no tech wizard but I've even figured out how to store other files on this drive (drag and drop - duh).
