Another excellent Mac product

I looked at the other cheaper units available but got concerned about noise and reliability. I ended up spending the extra few dollars on this one knowing that it will work just like her Macbook and have not regretted it!

Great addition to my laptop

Love the capability of inserting a movie or tutorial.Only thing......mine is black...not silver as described but makes no difference....I am happy.

Perfect, Doesn't add unnecessary weight or size to the Mac Book Pro 13.3" w/Retina display that I purchased as well. It's a bit slow when importing CD's but that's not a deal killer. Price was right..

Indispensable for multimedia and entertainment

It allows us to enjoy many types of entertainment our large-screen iMac.

Simple and Effective With a Caveat

Recently the internal CD drive in my MacBook Pro ceased working so I bought another one to use instead of getting the MacBook repaired. However, if your mac has an internal drive, this external unit will not function...who would have known. But the drive itself is great.

Easy to use..

It connected fast and was easy to use. We own a MAC and have learned it’s just easier to use Apple products.

Apple - SuperDrive 8x External USB

However I would have liked it to come with a USB-C connection so that it would hook easily into other Apple Product without purchasing an adapter. You would have thought that Apple would have updated this device.
