This is a great way to save space on the MacBook by having an external disk drive!

I purchased simply because I still enjoy a physical CD. Being that Apple has done away with drives in their MacBooks, this is essential for someone like me. Writes disc in a quick manner. Simple hook up with USB and it's a neat peripheral too.

Works great, happy that it is easily portable. Can also burn cd and dvd.

I recently bought a new MacBook Pro but it doesn't come with a DVD burner. I bought the Apple USB SuperDrive and it works great so far. I plugged it in and didn't have to do anything else. I haven't tried to burn a DVD yet but it shouldn't be a problem.

I bought this peripheral a few years ago and it's still going strong. Reads and burns CDs, CDRWs, DVDs etc with no trouble. Very satisfied with it.

Bought this to run CDs from old products. Works fine with apple adapter.

This is a must have coming from a windows world prior. Took some getting use to though.

It was a plug and play, just plug it into the port and it was ready to go.

Very easy to connect, just plug the USB cable and that is it. Did not really need it but decided to keep to look at old pictures and download music from my cd collection. Small and elegant like everything Apple makes. Sits perfectly on the base of my iMac.

I love this laptop. The retina display is terrific. The laptop only weights 2 pounds and can fit into a medium tote purse. Haven't gotten use to how sensitive the mouse pad is yet, but I'm working on it. A bit frustrating when the page I'm looking at suddenly slides over to the last page I was viewing without my apparently touching anything. Still I like almost everything else about this computer.

The drive works as intended with very little instruction needed. Reliable so far.

Works well and was easy to set up to the new mac. Had no hardware problems.

The DVD drive has Apple's aesthetic. I wonder when the next update of the drive will be.

I only use one time but it work good and have it for emergency.

I wish that the latest iMac would have come with a cd/dvd drive, but this met our needs.

This is a good external DVD drive. It's slim, so it doesn't take up a lot of extra space.
