It fits perfectly on the top part of my iMac stand.

I bought a new MacBook Pro and of course, it didn't come with a CD drive so I just bought Apple's drive. Works great. Just wish Apple kept the CD drive in the laptop. It can be a pain to hook it up, but in all honesty, I don't use a CD drive much.

So easy to use. just plug in and play and enjoying burning or watching DVDs.

When we need to use DVD’s, this is a great tool to use. We can play a certain DVD on the MacBook and have it air played to the Apple TV. This is really neat because there is no DVD player in our living room tv

Typical Apple product performs as you need it to. Simply plug and play.

Works as described. Nothing special about it- probably should’ve gone with an off brand to save money but it seems well made.

Since the Mac mini doesn't a drive, needed the super drive to access content stored on CD

We purchased this external USB SuperDrive to use with our new iMac 27" computer. Our older iMac 24" included the drive and we used it very often, so it was an easy decision to purchase the Apple SuperDrive for our new computer.

Excellent, it works great with my Macbook Pro. Only thing is that you have to plug it directly into a port. It will not work if you connect it through a multiport adapter.

I purchased this to replace my other external cd drive that I had lost. The difference in quality was amazing. I also like the built in usb connection.

bought a MacBook Air for our daughter for College graduation to replace the 6 year old one she had. The new Air does not have a drive(that's why it's so light) so added the drive so she could download CD's etc to the new Air. Great add on for the price

Paid a little extra to have the Apple model - there were other super drives that were almost half the price, but then again, I love everything Apple. Quite satisfied with this drive, no issues so far.

Yes there are cheaper external cd drives, but I went with a product I knew would be compatible right out the gate with my MacBook Air. Don't try save money on the cheaper models buy Apple.

I use this drive everyday. Works well. My husband suggested that I get it.

Great product. Im disappointed to learn i could not burn songs from apple music using this product. But for what its worth im able to do everything else i wanted to do.

I purchased a new Apple MacBook which does come with a CD/DVD player. A friend suggested I purchase a SuperDrive. Found Apple has one and I have no complaints!
