This external drive is easy to use, functional and works like we were promised.

Occasionally I find independent music artists that are not available on iTunes, so I have to download their CD’s to my library. Since a disc drive is no longer part of a iMac or MacBook. I knew that I would need this equipment.

Good add for my Mac Pro. Light and efficient. Needed at times for CD or DVD.

Since Apple does not include DVD drives with their computers, one must purchase a DVD drive if one wants to utilize its various functions. I prefer the Apple version and I'm happy with my purchase.

Needed a way to download my daughters senior pictures. This done the job.

If you still buy cd's and other programs that come on an actual disc this is a must have. The only downside that I saw to the MacBook Air was that it didn't have a cd drive, but this was inexpensive and worth the buy. Works perfectly, no problems.

I was not sure how I would like the external drive, but knew I would need one to add CDs to my iTunes library and project or watch videos. This does the job for both my MacBook and my iMac, so I only need one drive for the two computers.

Good decent derive. Do the job I expected. The design is very slim and looks nice!

This device is simple and does its job with ease but needs an eject button on it.

Based on looks it appeared the unit would have the black side with the apple logo facing up , however that is incorrect and after having the disc eject several times realized the unit was upside down. My bad! so far its working fine. Only time will tell.

This product was easy to use and did what it was intended to do.

So far, it works fine. If you have a newer Apple computer, you may need an adaptor to be able to plug it into the computer. There is no eject button on the drive itself, but cd’s can be ejected by pushing the eject button on the computer screen

I have gone through 4 of these. They are great as long as they sit on your desk and they don't get moved a lot. I keep the original packaging when traveling and not one of them works at the end of a trip and I hand carry them in my carry-on bags. Best Buy has replaced them each time but the product is not sturdy which is surprising for an Apple Product.

Invaluable to any Mac user who still relies on occasional need for a disc drive. It’s a pain they’ve done away with everything but USB-c but this is handy for when you need it.
