My husband was reluctant to give up his PC, but loved the sleek design of the Apple desk top until he realized that there was no place to insert his CDs. This Product allows him to listen to CDs and run programs that he owns on disc.

I found some CDs with pictures of my farm I sold years ago and had no computer that has a cd drive. This works great!

There are many reviews on apple official website saying this product tends to be broken after a few uses. I have been using it for a few months and so far so good. Doesn't have noise at all and reads the disc quite fast.

Works like it should and looks great. Matches the Macbook perfectly. Only downside is the USB cord is a bit short and won't work off my hub. Must be hooked directly into the Mac. Your experience may be different, I'm still using a USB1 hub.

Picked this external drive for my Apple Mac Air. Now, I can watch blu-ray DVDs and burn content as well. Love it!

I had an issue with it initially where I couldn't get it to work on my MacBook because of region timezone setting etc. I had to set it up on a different MacBook in order to get it to work on my Mac. Wish it reads blu-ray. Otherwise works well

I ordered this product for my Macbook Air since it did not come with a disk drive. It can be tricky to figure out at first because it does not have an eject button, but after it is used a few times, it becomes easy to use works great.

i like the product it works and cheap for being a Apple device I don't like how the first time I used it I had to press eject 4 times to remove the disc and it don't have a eject button on the device you have to go threw your laptop to eject

Works as I anticipated though I hate carting around an external DVD writer
