Great, flexible option

This is a flexible alternative since the current MacBooks are not being built with internal drives. The good news is it's your typical great Apple construction!

But I went ahead and did it but bought the external player to go with it. It seems to work just fine, no problems so far.

Replacement for a destroyed drive

Therefore this is a replacement for that one. Excellent drive. Don't know if this works with other than a Mac but recommend it if you have a Mac.

It's OK

Bought it for my MacBook Pro to use with the small cd's but it will not allow you to use the small cd's and they get stuck in the unit and ruin it. But can be used for regular cd's. I bought a cheap one on eBay to use for small cd's and it works just as good as this more expensive one.

Can now copy CDs

For you to copy old school stuff, you need a reliable old school device.

Does the trick and will be able to "grow" with me into new devices. A must have accessory for newer Apple products if you are in an industry where things still come on CDs.
