I was hesitant about purchasing a MacBook Pro that doesn't come equipped with a DVD player like my older one does. But I went ahead and did it but bought the external player to go with it. It seems to work just fine, no problems so far.

I needed a CD/DVD drive as the iMac I own didn't have one built in. The price was much more reasonable than I was expecting. Like most Apple products, it works well.

Great drive and makes everything very convenient, especially when you are use to having a DVD/CD drive in your computer.

We needed to be able to use a cd/dvd drive to play our favorite movies and music from our laptop. This does the trick.

Needed to multi-task my burning of DVD's and this did the trick. Rather inexpensive and provides me with additional output. A little slow on burning, but I still get the increased production I desired.

Purchased this for my 2014 MBP Retna. Does the trick and will be able to "grow" with me into new devices. A must have accessory for newer Apple products if you are in an industry where things still come on CDs.

Typical cd rom drive. Bought it for my MacBook Pro to use with the small cd's but it will not allow you to use the small cd's and they get stuck in the unit and ruin it. But can be used for regular cd's. I bought a cheap one on eBay to use for small cd's and it works just as good as this more expensive one.

This is very easy to use, and it it is a great portable addition to my Mac.

Yes, Apple products may cost a little more than others but their products are worth it by themselves but once you realize Apple's employees are empowered to do what's right for their clients is the main reason I purchase them.

Very happy with this product. I have a lot of cds I want to burn to my computer and the ones I’ve completed so far this has worked perfect!

Nothing special. It gets the job done. Really handy if you have macbook air.

I purchased this for use with my MacBook Pro. Work great. The only problem is you have to purchase an adapter to get from the USB cable on the drive to the C connector on the computer.

I didn't realize when I bought my laptop that they don't commonly come with a cd drive anymore. So I bought this one thinking I would most def need it. welllll I've only used it a handful of times haha. but it worked great when i did use it!!

The drive is over priced but it does do what is expected of it.

Easy set up and works as expected. Usually not disappointed with Apple.

Works great. I tried to rip some old dvds with several other devices. Nothing worked until I bought this!
