It does what I need it to do. Very little instructions with it. I had to call Apple support to get it to work.

Very happy with this product. I have a lot of cds I want to burn to my computer and the ones I’ve completed so far this has worked perfect!

I have used Apple super drives for a number of years and I continue to use them because they are solidly built and do the job well. If I were to suggest an improvement it would be to support blu ray disks.

It is small and does the job intended well. I would recommend it.

You can never go wrong with Apple and if you find a refurbished model you know it's as good as brand-new and Apple and Best Buy always back up their products!

What can I say? It works well and it got the job done. My new Macs don't have the ability to read DVD internally so I need to get this for the older apps I have that are on DVD to get them loaded to the new Mac. It got done.

Apple DVD drive - a needed accessory. Apple should make more adaptable products that do not require so many connectors and adaptors, but has worked well.

I had purchased another drive prior to this one about a year ago. Died in 8 months. Such a waste. So far, this superdrive has far surpassed my expectations. Fast read/write. I have high hopes for it lasting more than 8 months.

Having an external DVD drive helps in this transition phase where technology is moving away from using DVDs and that MacBooks now do not come with an internal dvd drive to make it lighter and thinner and more portable.

In a time where drive are being used less frequently. I find that I continue to use what I have for business. It works very well for my recording of DVD's I pass out to different schools. Great Super Drive!

Like I had a choice. iMac has no drive. Works great. No complaints.

I purchased this external CD/DVD drive to go along with my new Macbook Pro. So far, so good. Everything has worked as it should. My friend thinks that it should work for Blue Ray discs, but it doesn't bother me at all.

We needed to be able to use a cd/dvd drive to play our favorite movies and music from our laptop. This does the trick.

I was surprised when my flashy new iMac did not come come with a drive, but warmed up to the idea of an external drive. This one does not disappoint. connects easily and works flawlessly. and it tucks away when not in use.
