Exactly what I was looking for. Works perfectly!!!

What can I say? It works well and it got the job done. My new Macs don't have the ability to read DVD internally so I need to get this for the older apps I have that are on DVD to get them loaded to the new Mac. It got done.

Having an external DVD drive helps in this transition phase where technology is moving away from using DVDs and that MacBooks now do not come with an internal dvd drive to make it lighter and thinner and more portable.

I had purchased another drive prior to this one about a year ago. Died in 8 months. Such a waste. So far, this superdrive has far surpassed my expectations. Fast read/write. I have high hopes for it lasting more than 8 months.

Great for loading software without having to use GB

I purchased this external CD/DVD drive to go along with my new Macbook Pro. So far, so good. Everything has worked as it should. My friend thinks that it should work for Blue Ray discs, but it doesn't bother me at all.

Meets my needs. Apple product so confident in compatibility.

Bought to use with my MacBook Pro. While I would prefer to have an internal drive, this does the trick for us old school folk who still watch dvds.

Like I had a choice. iMac has no drive. Works great. No complaints.

I love this and it makes a great addition to my Macbook Pro. I don't use it as much as I thought I would because a lot of discs I use aren't compatible with Mac. Haven't had any issues with it.

I was surprised when my flashy new iMac did not come come with a drive, but warmed up to the idea of an external drive. This one does not disappoint. connects easily and works flawlessly. and it tucks away when not in use.

The SuperDrive works great. It does exactly what I wanted.

The one downside of being older and purchasing newer MacBooks is the lack of a disc drive. This product is MORE than worth it if you enjoy using physical CDS, making mixtapes, etc.

I bought one when they first came out, I did not like the band on it so I returned it to the Apple store. Saw this one at Best Buy and I knew that I had to have it. I ordered it, got it sooner than expected and I LOVE it!

It is a good product with reasonable price from the Best Buy. No problem since we purchased and happy about it.

I needed to view pictures from a disc and my iMac didn't have a cd reader. Bought this. Works fine. Only thing that's annoying is, of course Apple is never all inclusive. Always have to purchase extra stuff.

Excellent addition to your iMac. Highly recommend and great price as well.

I use this to rip CDs to my music server and only had an issue with older, thicker CDs not ejecting as smoothly. Other than that this thing works great!
