Great value. Convenient and attractive. Great addition

Easy and portable to use. A must have item. Also helps having the connector cord attached to drive instead of keeping it separate. That way it doesn't get lost.

The Geek squad were very polite and helped me to set up the proper programs. I was so happy because they explained and even highlighted the instructional book for me. I shook their hands and thanked them for all their work.

I use this to rip CDs to my music server and only had an issue with older, thicker CDs not ejecting as smoothly. Other than that this thing works great!

Bought to use with my MacBook Pro. While I would prefer to have an internal drive, this does the trick for us old school folk who still watch dvds.

Having a separate drive allow splitting the weight of all the electronics when traveling and lets us choose whether to leave the device at home or bring it along.

I wasn't sure whether I would like this drive, but it has turned out to be excellent for the money and it's slim profile allows it to fit almost anywhere on the desktop.

This is of course a great quality item, I'm just bothered by the fact that it has to be purchased as an extra item to use with the iMac, rather than it being included. USB drives & connections may be the way of the future but CDs/DVDs are still very much present today! That's why I give it 4 stars not 5! Other than that it's a great quality item.

This device handles all-comers, DVDs, CDs, and BluRays. Apple reliability, looks and functionality are all there. You need one of these to take best advantage of disk-based media. You won't be sorry.

I bought this just in case I come across a time when I may need to insert a disk. I've had this external drive for a couple months now and so far haven't used it. A little pricy for something that is hardly used anymore. Would be better if it was compatible with blue ray disks.

Great product by apple. I give it 100 percent. My complaint about is that they took it out of the macs themselves that you know have to buy it separate and they did not even lower the cost of the computers

This was well worth the money. I would recommend Apple brand products, they always work the best with the Apple computers.

It is slower than the drives I had in my 2009 MacPro, it also has some issues with not being able to read some discs. I fired up the MacPro and didn't have any issues with the disc it wouldn't copy. But it's nice having the option of the drive with my iMac.

I got a MacBook Air without a disc drive so I bought the external one. I don't use it that much so I wish I wouldn't have spent the money however it does work great. I watched a movie on it other day and it was easy to setup.

The external CD/DVD driver again is to use with no setup.

I'm pretty much a cloud user B's have lived without a DVD Drive for awhile. Then I picked up tax software this year so I bought the Drive. As I expected from Apple, it works, it's reliable, and my taxes are done

Works as expected. Looks clean slim and portable. Good buy.
