    I wasn't surprised when I found out the new Mac didn't have a cd reader and was glad that Apple made a solution for the people who still want one. It is very compact and works just as you would expect

    This is a great addition to my Apple Mac Book Pro. As with all Apple products the quality is rock solid. Small footprint space & light weight. No external power required. Just plug it into USB port.

    This was a Christmas gift for my 23 year old granddaughter. She asked for an external hard drive and this one was way more than she expected. It has way more space than she should need for a long time.

    This purchase was a must as I have a newer iMac and have a need to play DVD and CDs on my Mac. The newer Macs do not have a built-in drive.

    Considering my new Mac does not come with disk drive it was necessary to purchase this for a few things I would need to upload and to make CD when necessary. Best Buy had the best price.

    I purchase the apple super drive to go along with all my other apple products and I love it! Its very quiet when inserting a disc which is a plus! I highly recommend definitely if you're a apple fan like me!

    I have a Mac Mini and needed a CD/DVD player and burner and this was the most logical choice. I have only used it to import CD's into my iTunes and so far I am very impressed. It is a great product for the price.

    My latest and greatest MacBook Pro does not come with a CD-DVD. So I have no choice than but to use the external SuperDrive if I want to save data,photos or movie clips to CD/DVD. It's also reasonably priced.

    The drive performs well, but it hangs up on media when I try to insert a disk. It seems that some sort of mechanism inside the unit is partially blocking the media. I don’t want to send it in for repair, because they will really screw it up.

    This is my second superdrive first one cd got jammed up. It produces a nice sound and allows me to burn my cd collection to my Mac hard drive
