If your computer no longer has a built-in CD/DVD drive, this is a very low cost solution, and it works great. Finish matches the Apple iMac line. Super thin, and takes up little space.

Icon on my screen disappears unless there is a disk installed. I do not not if it is supposed to be there all the time. Product works fine.

It does NOT disappoint. Totally worth my money even if it is a bit pricey. I am always scared to hook up non-Apple products to my Mac, so I made sure to purchase this Apple product. Better to pay $70 than buy something cheap and mess up a $1000 laptop.
