The external DVD/CD reader is perfect

I don't need one all the time, as most things are downloadable. But there are those times when it will come in handy. I have a lot of CD's that I need to download into iTunes for my nano. This allows me to set up anywhere with the laptop and get it done. I'm not bound to the office, and desktop.

It does NOT disappoint. Totally worth my money even if it is a bit pricey. I am always scared to hook up non-Apple products to my Mac, so I made sure to purchase this Apple product. Better to pay $70 than buy something cheap and mess up a $1000 laptop.

If your computer no longer has a built-in CD/DVD drive, this is a very low cost solution, and it works great. Finish matches the Apple iMac line. Super thin, and takes up little space.

Icon on my screen disappears unless there is a disk installed. I do not not if it is supposed to be there all the time. Product works fine.

I suck at writing reviews but I liked this product

Anyways, Best Buy sent me another one and this one did not get stolen hallelujah. Worked very well. Getting the disk out was literally a hassle, this is more than likely a user error not the product . Other than that, great purchase. And a real journey.
